When the job is completely finished, pull it out of the back very gently and lay it flat on a surface to cool. The LA4 is a great size for photos and laminating important documents that you need to keep as well as great for making name badges and temporary IDs. There's an ABS switch on the backside that allows you to release any documents that may get jammed. And as with most of PaperMonster machines, it comes with a sticker pack so that you can decorate it just the way that you like or keep it simple and plain. Thank you for your question. Unfortunetely there are no biodegradable pouches available. We do carry a variety of biodegradable film for roll laminators. You can find our selection of biodegradable film here . You would use them with a roll laminator , you can find our selection of machines here .

Yes this laminator can be used to laminating virtually any size of document up to legal size (8.5" x 14"). In fact if you are laminating smaller items you can even load multiple pouches into the machine at one time in order to speed things up. However, it is always a good idea to use a carrier in order to prevent jams. This is really a personal or small office laminator. It will have no problem laminating 25 or even 100 items in a day. However, if you are going to be laminating 25 items every day this is probably not quite heavy duty enough for your needs. I would suggest looking at one of the Akiles brand laminators for that type of application. The machine has better quality parts and will hold up better over time.

A pouch carrier is not required when using the is machine. However, we recommend that you still use a carrier with virtually any pouch laminator. The carrier will prevent glue from seeping onto your rollers which can cause pouch jams over time. Each pack of pouches that we sell actually comes with a carrier so you shouldn't have to worry about buying extras. However we do sell them individually if you want to have a spare on hand.
