Refurbished Tamerica EZ-Coil 46 Manual 4:1 Coil Punch and Bind Machine

Welcome to MyBinding.com. This is the EZ-Coil46 Coil Binding Machine with Electric Inserter from Tamerica. The EZ-Coil46 allows you create your own coil bound booklets quickly and cost effectively. Start by setting the machine for the type and size of booklet you want to make. The adjustable orange edge guide has a marker for A4 paper with 46 holes, but I’m going to be making an 8.5x11” book with 44 holes. On the left side there’s depth guide knob to adjust how far in the paper is punched. Always punch a test page before punching your printed pages. Looks good on both sides, but sometimes you can get a half punch on the edge. Just pull out the pins above those holes to disengage them and try another test page to make sure. Then punch your pages 15 at a time and if your covers are thick, do them separately. Stack your pages and covers and feed your coil into the end about 5 or 6 holes. Plug the power adapter into the machine and press the red button on top to start the inserter. Gently push the coil against the spinning cylinder until it spins the coil right to the end. Included with the machine are a pair of coil crimpers. Turn the booklet so the coil is facing you. Then take your coil crimpers and make sure the red dot is facing the ceiling. Take the coil coming out of the last hole on the page and crimp through it with one fluid motion. It should cleanly cut off the end and leave a nice notch so it can’t come unwound. And with that you’re done. In just a couple minutes you have a lasting, professional coil booklet. After you’ve made a few, don’t forget to empty the waste tray.
