Introducing the ECL 360 from Renz
The ECL 360 is the professional level electrical closing model for ring wire bound documents. Highly suited for tasks involving high producing volumes or requiring an efficient production speed, the ECL 360 is capable of up to 400 closings per hour.
Insert your ring wire on either of the two options offered on this versatile model and begin building your document. Pull out from the clamp or lift from the hanging device and place the wired document under the closing bar ensuring that the wires are upright and flush against the back of the closer.
The added safety feature of this machine means that should anyone leave their fingers under the closing bar, when it is activated, the close will be stopped and the machine will become temporarily unresponsive as a precaution. With just one tap of the foot pedal, your document is bound and finished with a perfect rounded close.
Rapid, safe and high quality binding with the ECL 360 from Renz.

Renz ECL 360 Electric Wire Closer Review
When it comes to document finishing methods, there are few that are as elegant as wire binding. This binding method will give every document you produce a professional look that will really make your work stand out. If you have a punch already but need a wire closer, you'll want to take a look at the Renz ECL 360. It's a closer that has a lot of special features and it's also very safe and easy to use. Here are the strengths and weaknesses of this device. Check them out so you can determine if this is the closer you've been looking for.
Strengths:
-
The maximum binding width of this device is 14.2 inches. (That's equivalent to 360 millimeters or 36 centimeters.) That makes this machine ideal if you need to work with letter- and legal-sized documents.
-
The ECL 360 works quickly so it's possible to close up to 400 wire spines over the course of just one hour. This is an incredible binding capacity and it will enable you to finish off a lot of documents in very little time.
-
This device is compatible with twin-loop and Spiral-O wire binding elements. These spines can be of any available size from the large 1-1/2" ones all the way down to the 3/16" wires. Spines with both 3:1 and 2:1 pitches can be closed with this machine. Also, it's easy to switch between different wire sizes and it only takes a few seconds so your level of productivity can stay up.
-
When you use the ECL 360, you'll be able to use calendar hangers. This will allow you to create your own customized calendars for either your company or your clients.
-
The ECL 360 has a built-in safety feature that will prevent you from injuring your fingers. This will allow you to get more done because you won't be worried about getting hurt.
-
This device is extremely well-built and features all-metal construction. It's very durable and will be able to withstand a lot of use.
Weaknesses:
-
This is a standalone wire closer and not a full-fledged binding machine. You'll need to have a separate punch available in order to prepare your documents for binding. One other option is to use pre-punched paper, which can help you save time and also save you the cost of an additional device.
-
The ECL 360 is a large device since it has dimensions of 21" (length) x 20" (width) x 8" (height). You'll want to make sure you have enough room in your workspace for it before investing in it.
As you can see, there are a lot of reasons to consider purchasing the Renz ECL 360. You'll be be able to bind a lot of differently sized documents with it and it works quickly so you can get a lot of books ready in not a lot of time. Just be aware that you'll need a way to get those pages punched and that this device is pretty large. If you're okay with that, then consider getting this machine for your office today.
