Great Question! Unfortunately this shredder is not made the US. The MBM shredders are made in Germany.

That is a great question. The Sentinel FS60B is great a shredding device for 1-6 sheets around once or twice a week. If you are looking to shred more than that we would recommend a larger more robust model.
