First adjust the edge guide on the left. Then take a page and you’ll probably see where the machine will punch the edge of the page. At the top, pull out the appropriate die pins. Do a test punch and make sure the holes are evenly aligned.
You can adjust the margin depth for smaller or larger sized coil. Adjust it on the left of the machine.
Now, the machine may be able to handle punching up to 20 pages, but my arm cannot. Realistically you can punch between 12 to 15 pages at a time.

This is the Tamerica Optimus-46i 4:1 Pitch Coil Binding Machine!
First adjust the edge guide on the left. Then take a page and you’ll probably see where the machine will punch the edge of the page. At the top, pull out the appropriate die pins. Do a test punch and make sure the holes are evenly aligned.
You can adjust the margin depth for smaller or larger sized coil. Adjust it on the left of the machine.

Once your project is punched and organized, take a fitting coil and thread it through a few holes by hand, then bring it to touch the roller, push on the foot pedal, and it will spin the coil through.
Next, with the front cover facing you, trim the coil at the edge of the book with the provided coil crimpers. Make sure that the red dot is facing up as well. Then flip the book around and trim off the remaining extruding coil.
Now you have a beautiful coil bound book!
