    The Logan Simplex Classic is a full featured artist’s level mat cutter with an economy price and is the all-purpose Logan mat cutting tool used by thousands of artists worldwide. The Simplex Classic Mat cutter is a base board mounted mat cutter with either 60" (152cm) capacity. It features a hinging guide rail with production stops, parallel mat guide in aluminum channels, 32" (81cm) squaring arm with stop, pull style bevel cutter and 701-1 Straight Cutter Elite . Also includes a copy of Logan’s newly updated Complete Guide to Home Picture Framing. Uses Logan 270 blades. The Simplex Classic series is ideal for the serious at home artist or framer providing a basic yet feature rich 60" (152cm) capacity mat cutter.

    How wide of a border can I cut with the Logan 560-1 ?

    Great question! You can cut a border as big as 5 1/2" inches using the mat guide. If you need a larger border, you can make your line, remove the mat guide and create any size border you would need.
