Peel the old page away from the spine, then place your new page in it’s place, making sure it’s flush with the rest of the book. Put the book back inside the paper clamp, press the start button, and let the machine warm up the glue again. When it’s done, place the book in the cooling tray with the cooling weight over the spine. For best results, wait until the spine has reached room temperature. Now the book is updated with a new page and it’s just as strong as it was originally. For more videos and all your binding needs, visit MyBinding.com.

The light on the binding strip inserter will indicate the size of binding strip you’ll need to use. This small book will use the smallest, A size strip. Insert the strip with the glue side facing up, then wait until the paper clamp opens back up. Then take the book, place it spine down into the cooling tray, and place the clear weight on top of the spine. Wait until the spine reaches room temperature for the best results. This next book is about 200 pages, but the Planax Copy Binder can bind books up to 330 pages. This larger book takes a size C binding strip. When completed, these larger books will require more time to cool before handing. Compared to other binding styles, the Planax system can bind 3 times as many books in the same amount of time. Imagine getting 3 times the work done in the same 8 hour day. For more videos and all your binding needs, visit MyBinding.com.
