my office loves this Review by K. McIntyre

They say you can't really appreciate something until you've experienced the alternative, and I can tell you that this stapler is worlds better than the regular manual staplers it replaced. No more jamming staplers. No more using pliers to pull jammed staples out of the stapler or the drawing set they're sticking out of. No more cut fingers from sharp bits of protruding or broken staples. Our architecture firm frequently uses this to staple large sets of drawings together, and we have no complaints. It saves us a huge amount of time and stress and is definitely worth the money.

It's easy to staple Review by S. Shaw

I work in an architectural office, we staple large and small sets of drawings. We've tried them all, Swingline and a dozen other brands. None work well. Half the time the staple crunches or doesn't go through the drawings at all. We just got this EZ Squeeze and it is everything it claims to be. Small to big stacks, flat back, no more fingers catching, It's easy to staple, you actually need to be careful not to push too hard. Staples remove easily and none have broken yet. I couldn't give this a higher recommendation from a business that uses it all day every day.

The Stanley Bostitch EZ Squeeze 130 Flat Clinch Reduced Effort Stapler (B8130) is wonderful. Our business regularly requires us to prepare multiple copies of information packets for local planning and zoning boards. The packets typically contain about 50 pages. This stapler was easy to use even for arthritic hands. The guide allowed us to position the staple at the desired distance from the edge each time, without having to align the packets individually. We loved how the "one size fits all" staples worked on thinner packets. The staples wrap around on the backside, no bumps or protruding ends. No more guessing what size staples to buy and changing them for different size packets. We have tried many heavy duty staplers over the years and none ever worked as well and as consistently. As other reviewers stated, there are no directions on how to open the staple tray, and it helped to have their advice. Other reviewers also criticized the amount of desk space it takes up when not in use. We simply placed the cardboard packing back on, which holds the handle down ad put it back in the box.

Great Stapler Review by officesupplies

We have a lot of Heavy duty staplers in our office (other brands) that turned out to be junk. They were very hard to use and required alot of force to staple and constantly jammed. This stapler is GREAT! very easy to use , luckily since it doesn't come with instructions, and it works perfectly. Its so smooth that when I went to staple a stack of papers I had to double check that the staple came out because it took no force at all. Great purchase. (Also this stapler is very large, twice the size of the others).

First off, if you forget what staples you’ll need, it tells you right on the bottom of the stapler. And here is the product number for those staples.

Push the button on the top back of the stapler to release the center shaft. Insert your staples and push the shaft back into place.

There is an edge guide as well! Push in the right side to adjust it. When you find the spot you want, lock it by pushing in the left side.

Now place in up to 130 sheets of paper and easily and painlessly staple through all of them. It’s best to do this quickly, so it looks more violently than the process actually is—to ensure the staple goes through all the way.

I don’t know if this was on purpose, but you can insert your pages at an angle into the center slot in the edge guide. This way you get a nice staple job like you usually do with a smaller hand stapler.
