You will need to press down firmly for the holes to punch through the paper, especially as the sheet count increases. Please make sure you are also punching 20lb paper and only going to the maximum sheet count.

Depending on usage, you may need to replace the punch heads. The replacement punch head item number for this product is #A7074871, and they can be purchased through the Swingline Web site www.swingline.com.

Unfortunately this punch can only handle 9/32" punch heads. Our Accented Heavy Duty Punch (item #A7074400) can hold 9/32", 11/32" and 13/32" sized punch heads though.
