It only sharpens standard sized wood pencils, and I will admit that it is a little slow completion. However, once it is done it produces a nice smooth sharpened pencil.
Here is the final result.
When you see that the receptacle is full empty it in the trash, then put it back for more sharpening!
On the bottom are rubber pads. In terms of traction, they do slide around a little more when pushed. They do an okay job, just brace it when you use it.
