This is the Swingline SmoothGrip Stapler!
To add staples, hold the base of the stapler and pull on the top. Insert your full sized strip of 1/4 inch staples and close the stapler. It can staple up to 20 pages(though realistically you can get a bit more pages in still).
It’s design is made to nicely fit in your hand for stapling in the air (but on also on a hard surface).
By safely holding the middle shaft and pulling down on the base, you can open the stapler to staple to walls and other surfaces. Then just snap it back into place for normal use.
Now it’s time to attempt to jam the stapler through excessive and sloppy use, but going through a whole strip none jammed—there is no guarantee of this, but still that’s good odds.
Lastly, for best results Swingline recommends using premium staples—that’s also what I used in my test.
Five Reasons to Get a Swingline Smooth Grip Stapler
Earlier this year, Swingline announced a new addition to their already impressive line-up of handheld staplers. That product is the Swingline Smooth Grip Stapler, a device that you should really consider getting if you need a stapler. Here are five reasons why:
1.) Using it is comfortable. Let’s face it: most staplers are bulky and holding them for any length of time can be uncomfortable. That’s not the case with the Smooth Grip. This device was designed to fit comfortably in your hand so you can staple a lot of documents without experiencing pain or fatigue.
2.) It’s good for short and long documents. The Smooth Grip can staple documents that contain anywhere from 2 to 15 pages. It’s great to have around for everyday stapling needs and it’s compatible with Swingline S.F. 4 Premium Staples.
3.) It’s durable. When you buy a stapler, you should buy one that’s durable because you’re probably going to wind up using it a lot. The Smooth Grip’s shell is made out of high-impact plastic, so you can be sure it’s able to withstand a lot of use.
4.) Pick your color. The Smooth Grip is available in a number of different colors. You can choose from translucent teal, purple, and blue if you want to make a statement. Or you can select one that’s charcoal- or bone-colored if you want to project a professional image.
5.) It has a great warranty. Swingline takes pride in their products and always issues great warranties. That’s definitely true with the Smooth Grip because it comes with a limited one-year warranty.
As you can see, the Swingline Smooth Grip has a lot to offer. If you’re in need of a good stapler, you should definitely check it out – you’ll be glad you did.
