Congratulations to MyBinding HGSA Teams!
Last week we posted about the Hillsboro Girls Softball Association (MyBinding HGSA) teams that we sponsor. Their tournament finished up this weekend with a flurry of games. The U12 and U14 brackets ended up with a two-game tournament because the rest of their games were rained out. U18, with some of their players in their final season, were able to play all scheduled games. We are excited to announce the results:
U12 - This bracket is for fifth and sixth grade girls. Teams are named after their sponsor:

Two girls in the U18 bracket were awarded college scholarships. Interested girls applied for the scholarship by writing an essay centering on the subject of how softball has impacted their life. Jacqueline Riddle of the Dick's Sporting Goods team won $250 to the school of her choice. Ashley Barr of the MyBinding team was awarded $500 towards future schooling.
