We Made the Inc. 5000 — Again!
Here at MyBinding.com, we’re proud to announce that we’ve made Inc. magazine’s top 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America for the second straight year. And while we’re definitely excited about receiving such an honor, we’re just as excited to be ranked among so many other great companies…right here in Portland! In fact, here’s a brief look at the top five Portland-based companies according to the Inc. 5000.
Elemental Technologies
Topping the Inc. 5000′s Portland list was this technology development company. Elemental Technologies develops technology for online video streaming. They work with major content distributors like Comcast, Disney, and HBO to bring streaming video to your media device of choice. In addition to being Inc.’s number one in Portland, Elemental Technologies also finds themselves ranked second among all software companies nationwide.
DiscoverOrg
Just across the river in Vancouver, this 5 year-old company maintains a database of contact information that it makes available to technology marketers. Targeting over 15,000 organizations, including Fortune-ranked companies, universities, and government agencies, DiscoverOrg gives technology marketers unprecedented access to the largest technology buyers in the world.
Janrain
Third on our local list is Janrain, a company that created an online platform to allow users access to multiple accounts using only their preferred social media credentials, saving them the hassle of multiple logins and passwords. On the flip side, this also grants businesses access to their users social media data, from which they can develop and initiate more targeted campaigns. Interesting side note: The company’s name was inspired by a typical Portland occurrence–rain in January.
Virtualosity Solutions
Back across the river in Camas, Virtualosity Solutions comes in at number four on the Inc. 500o’s top Portland-based companies. This local Information Technology service specializes in solutions and software development for financial services, health care, education, and imaging technologies. Despite its small town roots, Virtualosity Solutions has an impressive list of global customers.
Eid Passport
Finishing up the top five is a particularly notable company, our neighbor, Eid Passport. It’s true! You’ll find this security screening company just down the road from us in Hillsboro. Eid Passport offers products and services to high-security facilities such as military, government, and other commercial buildings. They specialize in granting and streamlining secure access to authorized personnel. So much for us sneaking into their office parties, right?
