The MBM DestroyIt 2260 Strip Cut Shredder is an ideal system for deskside/personal shredding use. The DestroyIt 2260 Strip Cut shredder features a photo cell controlled automatic start and stop function, and a single multifunction switch with pilot light for stand-by/stop/reverse. The Destroyit 2260 Strip Cut shredder has hardened steel cutting shafts that will easily dispose of staples and paper clips. The Destroyit 2260 Strip Cut shredder comes equipped with a quiet and powerful single phase motor and a fully enclosed, dust-proof gearbox housing. It has a 5 gallon bin capacity and has double protection against overheating. All Destroyit shredders have a lifetime warranty on strip cut and cross cut shafts and wheels. All other parts have a 1 year warranty (excluding wearables).

Strengths:
- At just under two feet tall, the 2260 is compact enough to store under a desk. The feed entry is equipped with a photo cell controlled automatic start and stop. It senses when paper is inserted into the machine and begins shredding instantly. A single control element with three options- stand-by, stop, and reverse- has a large backlit surface with icons to indicate the operational status. An electronic control activates a sleep mode after one hour of inactivity, saving you valuable electricity.

- An 8-3/4 inch opening limits what can easily slide into the shredder. Many users will find this to be adequate for their light duty shredding needs.
