Welcome to MyBinding video. This is the DFG ETitanCoil Eagle. To start using this machine, plug in the socket and the footswitch, then turn it on. When punching, first adjust the side margin control to properly center the punches on your sheet. Once you place your sheet in, push the foot pedal and the machine will make your punches. As seen on the right, you may get a partial punch. To avoid this, pull the necessary disengagement pins. This removes the respected punch from the line. When using larger paper, put one hole through the aligner pin. This keeps your punches aligned correctly when finishing the punches at the length of the page. When coiling, first spin the coil through the first 4 holes by hand. Next, flip the top switch from front to bind. This changes the control of the foot pedal. Then place the coil against the roller. When in place, push the foot pedal and hold the book steady. Release the pedal when the coil is all the way through. Use the coil crimpers to cut off the excess binding. You can watch out how-to video on how to do it correctly. That’s just how to use the ETitanCoil Eagle. For more details on this machine and other demos, reviews and how-to’s, go to MyBinding.com.

The DFG ETitanCoil Eagle Coil Binding Machine Review

Color coil binding machines are very helpful when you and your organization need to produce professional-looking documents. Whether you're putting together a sales presentation, binding an anthology, or making calendars, coil binding is the way to go and the DFG ETitanCoil Eagle can help you out. Here's everything you need to know about this machine including how it rates on a scale of 1 to 10.

  • The ETitanCoil Eagle has the ability to punch 26 sheets of paper at a time which is a terrific amount for this type of device. You can punch the paper manually or with the machine's power turned on. There is a large waste tray so you can punch for a long time.

  • This device has both side and punching margin controls. These features will help you accurately position the paper for perfect punching.

  • As long as you leave the machine in manual mode, you'll be able to bind books with all sizes of color coils. If you choose to use the electric coil inserter, you can assemble documents that are up to 7/8" thick.

  • The ETitanCoil Eagle has a book forming guide to assist you when you're trying to bind lengthy documents. There's also a SERVOGROOVE roller system to help make the binding process fast and easy.

  • This binding machine comes with a foot pedal that you can use when you punch the paper. This is a great addition because it will free your hands up which can really help make the job go more smoothly.

  • The ETitanCoil Eagle has two very popular features: disengageable dies and an open punching throat. These features will allow you to punch and bind books of various lengths (i.e. 11", 14", and so on). All of the dies are disengageable, not just a select few.

  • One of the best things about the ETitanCoil Eagle is that it's very, very well constructed. Many of its parts as made out of die cast metal so you can totally expect to get a lot of use out of it. (The punching heads are made out of steel.) It was designed for heavy-duty use so it's a good choice for copy shops and binderies.

  • The ETitanCoil Eagle measures 21" (width) x 19" (depth) x 14" (height) so it will take up a fairly large amount of room. The device has a year-long warranty.

  • Finally, a pair of crimping pliers comes with this machine. This will help you save a little bit of money.

Questions & Answers
Q:
Hi, we bought an DFG ETitanCoil Eagle Heavy Duty Punch and Power Bind Machine from you a couple years ago and it is now not punching cleanly. Is it possible to buy and replace the punch dies?
Asked by Dallas 5 months ago
A:
Thank you for your question. We are able to order parts but what we would need is the part #. If you do not have that DFG would be able to help you find that . Their direct dial number is (800)480-4334. Some manufacturers don't sell directly to the public. If they are not able to sell you the part we can place the order for you with the part #.
