This is the Fastbind Elite Hot Melt Perfect Binder (ELT110)!
To bind a hard cover book, insert your cover into the machine. Pull the right cylinder up and slide the cover over to hold it in place and keep the pages properly centered.
Next take your pages with adhesive end papers on both sides and lock your pages in. Flip the book so the page ends are up.
Run the spikes over the pages so the glue will hold better. Then run your glue over several times. Spread some of the glue on the side of the cover like so.

To bind a hard cover book, insert your cover into the machine. Pull the right cylinder up and slide the cover over to hold it in place and keep the pages properly centered.
Next take your pages with adhesive end papers on both sides and lock your pages in. Flip the book so the page ends are up.
Run the spikes over the pages so the glue will hold better. Then run your glue over several times. Spread some of the glue on the side of the cover like so.
Bring the book down and release the book. Grab it from the bottom and pull it out. Reinsert it like so and crimp the spine. Crimp it on both sides.
Now pull of the release liner from the end sheet and stick on the cover. Flip the book over and do the other side.
You have now just bound a hard cover book in about a minute’s time!
Thank you for your question. The average cost is about 1.3 cents per book which is based on a book that is .5 inch thick. Of course, some books can be 1.5 inches or more and would cost slightly but over time the average is less than 1.5 cents per book.
