Welcome to MyBinding video. This is the ShredStar PS817c, a level 3 cross-cut shredder by HSM. The PS817c a document shredder for personal and home office shredding of tax documents, bank statements, medical bills, etc. The 9 inch wide opening on the top makes it easy to feed documents through and this particular shredder can handle up to 17 sheets of 20-pound paper in a single shred. All controls are right there on the front, forward and reverse, even a warning light letting you know the trash bin is full. This ShredStar can handle DVDs, CDs, paperclips, staples, as well as paper, cardstock and laminated items. Should you have a jam, simply push and hold the reverse button, it backs the paper out, turn it over and start again. The waste bin on the front is 7.1 gallons and guides out really easy by the handle. The shreds themselves are a level 3 security cross-cut shred and regardless of where you store it or use it, it rolls around on 4 casters, making transportation and mobility a snap. That’s it.
