“What drew me to Rhin-O-Tuff specifically was its commitment to innovation, the palpable energy of a team passionate about pushing boundaries, and the prospect of contributing to a legacy of excellence as well as their commitment to bringing manufacturing back to the USA.”

How do you feel the health of the industry has been in the last few years?

“The printing industry, navigating the currents of an ever-expanding digital landscape, has encountered challenges. However, amidst this transformation, it remains resilient and brimming with creativity. While the traditional dynamics shift, the industry is not merely surviving; it's showcasing a spirit of adaptation, innovation, and a collective commitment to progress.”

What are your future predictions for the industry?

“I predict a trajectory marked by growth fueled by cutting-edge technology, sustainability practices, and a deeper integration of customer-centric solutions. It's not just about keeping pace; it's about leading the way into uncharted territories, where the industry becomes a driving force in shaping the global business landscape.”

What’s the biggest current challenge in the industry? How did your team address this?

“So, in our world, things are changing fast – more digitalization, less print. We saw the trends, developed a new product, and set out on our current path. Navigating this challenge not only weathered the storm but transformed it into a growth opportunity. Lessons learned fortify our resolve to lead in this ever-evolving industry.”

What changes have you seen in your industry that have surprised you the most? How did your team pivot?

“Supply chain disruptions, a global phenomenon exacerbated by external factors, created another unique challenge. To mitigate the impact, we

diversified our supplier base, embracing local partners and implementing agile inventory management strategies.”

What advice do you have for someone new in the industry? Advice for someone experienced?

“To the newcomers entering this industry: embrace every hurdle as a chance to learn and grow. For seasoned professionals, remember that you're the rock stars with a wealth of experience. Share your knowledge generously and continue to evolve.” 

What product does your company currently sell that’s quickly becoming a favorite of yours?

“The standout favorite for me is hands down the Tornado Autopunch EX. I joined the team specifically to spearhead its re-launch, and seeing it thrive is immensely rewarding. The Tornado Autopunch EX isn't just a solution to today's challenges like labor shortages and the need for quick turnarounds; it's also an opportunity for industry growth and team collaboration.” 

Where do you see your company in the next year? In the next five?

“Looking ahead, Rhin-O-Tuff is gearing up for a dynamic year, marked by continuous strides in innovation. The Tornado Autopunch EX will see ongoing enhancements while we continue boosting our production capabilities and efficiency. In five years, envision a steady ascent – not rewriting the entire playbook, but definitely refining our game. The Tornado Autopunch EX will have solidified its place, contributing to industry benchmarks. Rhin-O-Tuff, an already recognized name, will embody innovation and leadership, evolving in sync with the industry without losing sight of our commitment to excellence.”

What goals does your company have for the year end?

“Our year-end goals are ambitious and laser-focused on surpassing current momentum. Our commitment to pushing boundaries and achieving milestones goes beyond the ordinary – it's about setting Rhin-O-Tuff on a trajectory that elevates us beyond the competition. From a revitalized Tornado Autopunch to strategic market expansions, each goal underscores our unwavering dedication to excellence.”
