Thank you for your question. The Excel T-300 Automatic Table Top Bag Sealer does need a air compressor. When we contacted Excel for recommendation on which compressors they suggest they did not offer a specific brand. They noted that a small tank compressor like the one you can find at a hardware store would work as long as it would be able to put out at least 50 PSI.
