I’ll start off by cutting the maximum amount of sheets with 12 pages. Slip it under, firmly brace the pages and make the cut. For twelve sheets it makes a clean cut still, and is not too difficult to make.

On the board is a measuring length of 12 inches, the grid is measured in half inch measurements, and above are centimeters(the grid is still in inches though).

Using the metal edge, I did a test to see how evenly it is aligned with the blade, and thankfully it is nicely aligned.
