Security - Key Lock door – includes two keys and two collection bins. Lock is customizable. Tamper-resistant screws with locking hardware on inside prevents access without key (It would require grinding the head off at least 6 screws to access collection bin without key)

Hi, I’m Ryan with Proton Data, and this is the Proton T-4 Degausser. It’s the strongest degausser on the market because of its patented reverse polarity technology. We’ll talk about that in a minute, but first let’s see how it works.
The unit plugs into any standard wall outlet, and it has dual voltage, so it can operate anywhere in the world. The unit plugs into any standard wall outlet, and it has dual voltage, so it can operate anywhere in the world. Simply take a hard drive or tape, place it in the opening, press the Start button, and it drops into the chamber. You’ll hear two pulses. That’s our patented technology. That was the first pulse. It’s a positive, 20,000 gauss field. The next pulse will be a negative 20,000 gauss field. This reverse-polarity technology is patented, and it creates the highest field saturation available. The use of positive and negative pulses guarantees that your media is totally degaussed and forensically unrecoverable. The T-4 meets NSA and DoD specs for top secret and classified data. In a few seconds here, it’ll drop down the exit chute. Thischute can also be straightened upon request to let the media fall directly into the bin.You’ll see that with the T-4, there is no need top open and close a drawer for every cycle, like with some degaussers. So this can save you a lot of time if you have a large volume of hard drives or tapes. After you get the hard drive from the tray, you can place and erasethe ‘sanitize’ label on itand mark it for safe recycling or send it to be physically destroyed or shredded. As an added safeguard, the T-4 has internal sensors which measures the field strength of each and every cycle and reports it to the operator on this blue LCD screen. To report both the positive and negative pulses, you see the bidirectional field. And this ensures that your degausser is working to NSA specs each and every cycle. It also has a digital cycle counter to help you keep track of your degaussing. The T-4 will erase all magnetic media available today, including new SMR (Seagate Shingled Magnetic Recording) technology, and it’s also designed to last well into the future.
