The Formax FD 1606 AutoSeal offers a user-friendly mid-volume pressure seal solution for processing one-piece pressure-sensitive mailers. Pressure seal forms including checks, invoices, and marketing pieces are folded and sealed in one piece saving time and money by eliminating the need for envelopes. This machine features automatic fold settings, a full-color touchscreen, and a three-tire drop-in feed system that allows the users to complete mailings with ease. Its touchscreen uses internationally-recognized symbols in place of text, making it easy for anyone to use. It is pre-programmed to automatically adjust in 5 different fold types in 11-inch or 14-inch lengths. In addition, it also has the ability to store up to 3 different custom folds and has a resettable 6-digit counter that keeps track of the number of forms processed. Pressure seal forms can be used for any document that can be printed and folded on one sheet, eliminating the cost of envelopes and creating a sealed mail-ready piece. Automatic fold settings, an intuitive touchscreen, and a drop-in three-tier feed system allow users to complete mailings with ease. The large 3.5-inch color touchscreen uses internationally recognized symbols to easily navigate through setup and operation. The FD 1606 is pre-programmed to automatically adjust for five common fold types in 11-inch and 14-inch lengths. In addition, up to three custom folds can be programmed into memory for recurring unique applications. The drop-in three-tier feed system dependably feeds forms with no paper fanning required.The FD 1606 can process a variety of pressure seal forms in no time with just a few simple steps:
Press down on the feed tray lever and load your printed pressure seal forms under the feed tires.
Press the fold icon to select the paper size and one of the pre-programmed fold types.
Press the start button to process a single form for inspection.
All set? Press start again to process the rest of the stack. Forms are folded, sealed, and ready for the mail in a single pass. A resettable six-digit counter keeps an accurate count of forms processed. In addition, the flexibility of the FD 1606's advanced software allows for all standard fold types and paper sizes to be customized to meet your individual needs.
