Carriers slightly reduct the amount of heat reaching the pouch. You can increase the heat with adjustment or try using the 5 mil setting for 3 mil pouches. The only way you will know for sure is to test different processes. Some people run the pouch through a second time but you need to test this to determine if you get the results you want.
