Each pouch is made out of two sheets of laminate, pre-sealed on one end. That means our 3 mil - 5 mil pouches, include a sheet of that thickness on either side, resulting in a total pouch thickness of double that. Some manufacturers advertise 3 mil - 5 mil but only deliver 1.5 mil - 2.5 mil per sheet resulting in a lower quality lamination than if you had used 3 mil - 5 mil roll lamination.
