Questions & Answers

Thank you for your question. This product was not intended for that type of application, so it might not work. Because burlap does not have a smooth surface, it can be difficult for adhesives to adhere. Please give us a call if you would like a sample to test. Our customer service phone # is 1-800-944-4573

Pressure sensitive would be an adhesive that adheres with pressure, not heat. Meaning you do no have to use a thermal laminator.

Thank you for your question. MultiTac is a waterbased adhesive, and will fail pretty quickly when exposed to water. The SureTac White Premium PS Mounting Adhesive product will hold up better, but will tear when ripped off, as it is a fairly aggressive adhesive.

Thank you for your question. The normal adhesive for mounting images to wood is MHA. This is a heat activated adhesive that requires a heated laminator that’s capable of getting to at least 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Wood is tricky because it can emit moisture to the adhesive making most adhesives fail over time. The wood should be sealed then use the MHA. If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-944-4573.

Thank you for your question. Using Drytac adhesive to mount a puzzle directly on a wall. With the weight involved it’s not recommended or practical to mount the puzzle directly. The proper way would to use an adhesive like MultiTac Clear lr White to mount the puzzle to another substrate like Foamcore, Gator board or Sinatra. Then use mounting hardware to attached the finished piece to the wall. A laminator is usually used to attach the image to the substrate. If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-944-4573.

Thank you for your question. The MultiTac Clear Double-Sided Mounting Adhesive has a permanent adhesive and would not be able to be cleanly removed. Although none of our products are specifically designed for your process the film to try would be the RemoTac Permanent/Removable Mounting Adhesive found here . You would want to have the temporary adhesive side facing the glass.

Thank you for your question. The MultiTac Clear Double-Sided Mounting Adhesive is a double sided adhesive that is on a thin flexible film that you should be able to wrap a cylinder. The biggest challenge would be to lay the foil smoothly on the adhesive after it has been applied to the cylinder.

Thank you for your question. The MultiTac Clear Double-Sided Mounting Adhesive is only available by the roll. Unfortunately, we do not have a double sided pressure sensitive adhesive that is available by the sheet.

Thank you for your question. The MultiTac Clear Double-Sided Mounting Adhesive is one of the more versatile mounting adhesives and should work with a fine/tight weave fabric. We more open /loose weave of fabric may have some issues as there is less contact area and the adhesive would be exposed though the holes in the weave.

Thank you for your question. The MultiTac Clear Double-Sided Mounting Adhesive is not completely "optically clear". The adhesive you would want to use is the DryTac Facemount Optically Clear Mounting Adhesive which can be found here .

This product would work to mount a banner to the board. It is recommended you use a cold laminator to mount the banner to the one side though unless it is smaller. Larger products are not as easilly applied smoothly.
