Protac scribe cold overlaminating film is recommended for application to heat-sensitive output and high ink coverage output printed on photo gloss paper. Common applications include reusable presentation boards, schedules, vacation planners, maps and courtroom displays. Protac Scribe can also be used in conjunction with Ferro laminating films to create a dry erase magnet receptive presentation board. However, when using this film it is important to work with clean rollers. Adhesive residue on laminator rollers may transfer to the surface of Protac Scribe, which can then affect its write-on / wipe-off properties. Protac Scribe is a 1.6 mil (40µ) biaxally-oriented PP laminating film with a gloss finish, coated on one side with a pressure sensitive, aqueous acrylic adhesive that is protected by a bleached Kraft release paper coated on one side with a siliconized PE.

Thank you for your question. The Protac Scribe 2.5mil Dry-Erase PS Overlaminate is designed for fairly light use. After repeated erasing of chalk you may see some ghosting. It can be applied by hand but a machine helps get a even and smooth application.
