The Intimus Pro 45CP7 high security shredder by Martin Yale meets and exceeds NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 (Level 6) for high security cross cut shredders. This compact desk model will shred 5-6 sheets per pass into 0.8mm x 4.5mm (approximately 1/32" x 11/64") particles at 16 ft/min. Advanced technologies built into this model include "i-control," which features a central control pad that displays commands and visual backlit-icon alerts. I-control monitors internal temperature, oiling, bin door, and bin capacity, among other parts of the shredder that might require attention at times. The "EcoLogic" feature offers the user the option of setting a certain amount of idle time before the machine goes into sleep mode, effectively ceasing all electricity usage. "Silentec" features built-in sound-muffling technology that minimizes the impact of shredder operation on the focus and productivity of the immediate work environment. "DLS" (Dynamic Load Sensor) evaluates the volume of material being fed into the shredder, and indicates the danger level of the volume of material by shining a green, yellow, or red light. The high security, compact size, and user-friendliness of this shredder make it an ideal addition to your desk side as you maintain high-security handling of extremely sensitive information.
Formerly called the Intimus 45CC6, this model name update was to ensure product names accurately reflect the security level of DIN 66399. This is strictly a model number update, there have been no machine changes to the original model.
