ProductDescription

Our high quality Large Bookmark 2-3/8" x 8-1/2" Laminating Pouches help to improve the value of all printed materials. They enhance colors by turning dull prints into bright lustrous colors, help to prolong the life of printed materials and preserves them and protect them from outside elements. All of our pouches include one carrier per box. These pouches have superb clarity and offer exceptional value for reasonable prices.

High Quality Laminating Pouches — Our laminating pouches are some of the best on the market. They deliver the same quality thickness you would get if you were using a professional lamination roll. Each pouch is made out of two sheets of laminate, pre-sealed on one end. That means our 5 mil - 10 mil pouches, include a sheet of that thickness on either side, resulting in a total pouch thickness of double that. Some manufacturers advertise 5 mil - 10 mil but only deliver 2.5 mil - 5 mil per sheet resulting in a lower quality lamination than if you had used 5 mil - 10 mil roll lamination. It is important to us that our pouches utilize the full thickness that professionals and hobbyists alike expect and rely on for durability and clarity.

Adhesive to Laminate Construction — Our laminating pouches are made with a precise combination of premium laminate and adhesive. Below is the breakdown of the laminate-to-adhesive ratios for each side of our laminating pouches.

  • 10 mil pouch: 6 mil laminate + 4 mil adhesive per side
  • 7 mil pouch: 4 mil laminate + 3 mil adhesive per side
  • 5 mil pouch:  3 mil laminate + 2 mil adhesive per side
  • 3 mil pouch: 1.5 mil laminate + 1.5 mil adhesive per side

Thank you for your question. You would be able to trim the pouch before or after processing. As long as the pouch is still large enough to completely encapsulate the item that is being laminated the seal would still be sound. You just need to leave a small margin around the edge of the item that is being laminated to get a good seal.

Thank you for your question. With the Large Bookmark 2-3/8" x 8-1/2" Laminating Pouches you could use stock up to approx 2 " x 8 1/4" . You just need to leave a border around the edge of the pouch for it to get a good seal.

Thank you for your question . These pouches are for use in a thermal / heat-activated laminator. We also carry a selection of cold laminating supplies, they are sometimes referred to as self-laminating or self-adhesive pouches.
