These silver spiral binding coils are designed for use in any 4:1 pitch spiral coil binding machine. Made from the highest quality food grade PVC plastic our ColorCoil offers a quality, professional look while binding documents up to 2" thick. Although these particular coils are silver, we carry 4:1 pitch coil in 45 different colors and in sizes up to 50mm in diameter. Plus, all of our silver binding coils are CPSIA and ROHS compliant and are made in either Canada or the USA (not China).

Better yet, they fold nicely back to back and the choices of color is one of the largest in any type of binding. Standard size coil has a 4:1 pitch, which is compliant with its respected hole punches. The standard length of each coil is 12 inches. Coil should always be longer than the pages you're binding. There are also custom lengths up to 36 inches. With the extra length on each end, you finish off your book with special wire cutting crimpers. Thank you for your questions. Both the 43 and 44 hole punched letter sized papers will work with all of the standard 4:1 spiral coils.

Thank You for your question. The 6mm can hold up to 30 sheets of 20# paper, so for 35 sheets you want to go up to 7mm. For a complete breakdown of the capacities of the different sized spine please refer to our Sizing Guide .
