Each pouch is made out of two sheets of laminate, pre-sealed on one end. That means our 5 mil, include a sheet of that thickness on either side, resulting in a total pouch thickness of double that. Some manufacturers advertise 5 mil but only deliver 2.5 mil per sheet resulting in a lower quality lamination than if you had used 5 mil roll lamination.
