The HSM shredstar X5 cross-cut shredder shreds up to 5 sheets of 20lb paper, creates 446 cross-cut/confetti-cut particles per page, and has a cutting speed of 8.3 feet per minute. It can also shreds staples, paper clips, credit/store cards, and CDs/DVDs. This shredder is featured with Anti-Jam Technology that prevents jams when machine is overloaded. It has a separate CD cutting unit with own waste container for sorted disposal. Its quiet operation minimizes noise development in the workplace, and its LED indicator shows the device’s operating status: Power, Overload, Overheat. The shredstar X5 has a light barrier for automatic start/stop, and has a level indicator through inspection window in the waste container. This shredder has a removable 4.8-gallon bin for easy waste disposal.
