Product Description

These high quality Silver 1/4" 3:1 Pitch Twin Loop Wires are some of the best wire binding spines on the market today. Also called Wire-O, WireBind, and Double Loop Wire, these silver 1/4" 3:1 pitch elements let pages lie flat with 360 Degrees rotation for convenient note-taking and photocopying as well as provide a permanent bind to your documents--meaning your pages stay secure and protected. Not only that, but these silver 1/4" 3:1 pitch wire spines look a tad more refined than a plastic comb or spiral coil. Measuring 1/4" in diameter, these silver twin loop wires can hold approximately 20-30 sheets. These silver 1/4" 3:1 pitch twin loop wires come open in a "C" shape, allowing you to insert the spines into your punched pages and then simply use your wire binding machine or wire closer to finish your books. Product number W140SV.

It is important that your wire works with your punch and wire binding machine. First check what type of wire your machine uses before purchasing and that is twin loop wire. Questions & Answers

The 1/2" size holds up to 100 sheets, and would be better, as you would want to make sure you had room for your front and back covers, as well.

Thank you for your question. 3:1 indicates that there will be 3 holes or "loops" per inch along the bound edge of the page. 3:1 is the standard "pitch" for twin loop wire.
