These 18" coils are the perfect length for binding books on the 17" edge of 11" x 17" sized documents and don't require cutting from difficult to use 36" lengths. These coils are available in over 60 colors and 27 sizes. Simply choose the color and size to fit your project. These coils are packaged with 100 coils per box.

Standard size coil has a 4:1 pitch, which is compliant with its respected hole punches. The standard length of each coil is 12 inches. Coil should always be longer than the pages you're binding. There are also custom lengths up to 36 inches. With the extra length on each end, you finish off your book with special wire cutting crimpers. Questions & Answers
You should be able to use the 18" Spiral Binding Coils with the Rhin-O-Tuff CB3000, however I would add that the crimp capacity is 6mm to 50mm diameter coils.

Thank you for your question. To bind a 17" side of a document you would need a machine that has a open throat and a contentious punching guide. The Akiles line of Coilmacs are the only ones that have both of those features.
