Place the opener where staff can load, monitor, and unload it without blocking other work. Allow space for output trays, waste removal, power access, and routine cleaning. Milling models create small paper chips, so the waste container must be emptied before it becomes overfilled. Operators should know which envelopes require separate handling and how to respond to a jam without reaching into moving parts.
