Welcome to MyBinding video. This is the all new Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx HD7000, a 14" open ended punch system. In this video, we'll open the box, see what's inside, and put it all together. The entire Onyx line is solid metal and heavy duty. Be sure to have some help in pulling it out of the box. Inside the chip tray, you'll find handles, all in one oil, a power cord, the foot pedal, as well as the reverse knob. Assembly begins with the handles. Remove from their bag and one goes on each side, spinning them all the way in until they're locked shut. It's with these handles you'll lock and unlock the punch die. The machine plugs in on the back side both for the power cord and the foot pedal. For the Onyx HD7000, release the handles and slide the die right in from the right hand side all the way in, and lock the handles by lifting them up. Make sure they snap close. The adjustable knob on the front is the side margin control knob or the paper stop. Finally, should you need it, remove the cap in the front and this is where the reverse knob goes in. An additional option to the HD7000 is the palm switch. This would replace the foot pedal and allow you from the top as you're working with your paper to initiate the punch. There it is. Welcome to MyBinding video. This s a look at the Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx HD4170. The Rhin-O-Roll is an electronic coil inserter module. When your project is all punched and ready to bind, binding with spiral coil can sometimes be very tedious. The Onyx HD4170 makes it much easier. So select it right here on the top. You slide your project in to see exactly what size coil you need and once you begun inserting the coil on the end, turn on the machine and let the electronic roller do the rest. It guides the coil right down the spine in seconds. The oversized roller can handle the largest of sizes and with this thumb knob on the side, adjusting between coil sizes is simple. And finally, the Onyx HD4170 comes with a pair of coil crimping pliers. This way, you can finish off all your projects perfectly. Just be sure to keep the red dot facing up as you crimp right on the end of your project. The pliers cut the wire and bend the end so it doesn’t come apart. The HD4170 is a perfect standalone unit but it can also sit or be fastened to any HD or OD vertical punch. There you have it, you’re on your way to binding great many books.
