How To Reverse A Paper Jam on Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx HD7700?
Here is an audio transcript of this video:
Welcome to MyBinding's How-To videos. In this edition, we learn how to reverse a paper jam manually on a Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx HD7700 punch. Built into every Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx punch is the patented auto-reverse feature, which dramatically reduces the amount of jams. But sometimes a paper jam can happen and you have to manually reverse it. Here's how. Turn the machine off in the back and remove this little cover here on the left-hand side and set this little cap aside. On the back of the machine is the auto-reverse manual handle; remove it from the clip and place it into the hole. Twist it around until you find the grooves and it snaps all the way into place. And then, with a counter-clockwise motion, you can reverse the pins in the punch. You can either use your sense of feel and remove small packets of paper as you turn the handle. Or you can do it visually by looking just to the left of the paper stop and watching the pins retract. When they retract all the way, you're set to go, remove your project. Then, remove the handle, replace the cap, put the handle back on the back of the machine, turn it back on, and you're set to continue with your project. And that's how to manually reverse a paper jam on the Onyx HD7700. For more demos, reviews, and how-tos, check out MyBinding.com.
