Well the DC-210 may be the perfect trimmer for you. The movable fence has 2 strong magnets built in so it holds tight and firm to the metal base. Carl’s patented locking rail mechanism and premium carbide blades make for precise trims every time. This rail locking system is not only a safety feature but also when you place your materials in, clamp it down, they stay firm – making for accurate cuts every time. This is a great trimmer for paper, cardstock, laminate, photos. It can handle up to 36 sheets of 20-pound paper in a single trim. As with all rotary trimmers, you can trim in both directions, front, back or up and down. When you have a stack like this, you may need to run the rotary a few times to get all the way through. The precision of the machine, as well as all the measuring tools right there on the face make it great for scrap bookers, crafters and photographers; so as not to lose extra parts around the office, a great little compartment on the face of the machine holds extra blades and cutting mats.
