Keep cartons closed until needed and use older stock first when the specifications have not changed. Restrict access according to the sensitivity of the documents being produced. Damaged, outdated, or unused sheets should be handled under the organization’s document-control policy rather than placed in ordinary recycling without review. Maintain accurate inventory records when the paper is used for checks, certificates, prescriptions, financial forms, or other controlled documents.

Confirm the sheet size, paper weight, color, number of sections, perforation locations, printing method, security features, pack quantity, and grain direction when relevant. Use a diagram with measurements from fixed sheet edges rather than a written description alone. Print and separate a physical sample to verify that every section aligns with the intended form. Keep that approved sample with the ordering record.
