Printing suitability depends on the printer’s supported media weight, paper path, toner or ink system, and feed settings. Review the printer manual before loading heavy card stock. A straight-through or rear feed path may reduce curling and feed problems, while the correct thick-media setting can adjust speed and fusing conditions. Test one sheet to assess colour, registration, toner adhesion, drying, and curl. Dark text generally remains easy to read on ivory, but pale colours and subtle graphics may lose contrast. Avoid handling freshly printed sheets until the toner or ink is stable. When printing on both sides, confirm that the first side can pass through the machine again without marking or distortion.
