Replace or service the cutter when a correct new blade still moves loosely, will not hold depth, fails to track against the guide, or produces inconsistent cuts after the setup has been verified. Inspect the blade holder, bearings or guide surfaces, depth adjustment, handle, and attachment points for wear or damage.
