Test the printed card inside the pouch to confirm that the prepared slot does not cover any design element.

A carrier can help keep a small slotted pouch square as it enters the rollers and can catch adhesive that escapes near the edges. The correct laminating pouch carriers should fit the machine width and remain flat around the pouch. Place the prayer card evenly inside the pouch, position the slot away from the printed area, and feed the carrier’s folded edge first. Some laminators are designed for direct pouch feeding and may not need a carrier. Follow the equipment guidance because unnecessary carrier use can affect heat transfer.
