A recycled cover still needs to fit the document size, punch pattern, spine capacity, and expected handling. Material choice alone does not guarantee a practical finished piece. Decide whether the cover will be printed, pre-punched, scored, folded, or paired with a clear front, then test those steps using the actual equipment. Include both covers and any dividers when measuring the complete stack. A finished sample confirms that the environmental preference, print quality, durability, and binding compatibility all work together rather than solving only one part of the document.
