A complete package is suitable when the required top, cutting mat, shelf, roll holder, and mobility features are already known. Buying components separately is useful when an existing Rhino table only needs storage, media handling, or another specific improvement. Confirm the exact table width and length before ordering any shelf or roll holder because these accessories are size-specific. Also determine whether the table needs to remain stationary or move between work areas. A complete package can simplify setup, but separate components provide more control over cost and configuration. The best option depends on the existing equipment, material type, available floor space, and daily production routine.

A roll holder is useful when vinyl, laminate, paper, or another rolled material is fed directly onto the work surface. It keeps rolls organised, limits floor contact, and can reduce the handling required before measuring or cutting. Select the holder according to the table width, number of rolls, roll diameter, and weight. A holder made for a 4-foot table should not be assumed to fit a 5-foot frame. The chosen table must also have the correct mounting arrangement. For operations handling wide-format media, related wide-format laminators may determine the roll sizes and working direction that the table setup needs to support.

Confirm the table dimensions, shelf compatibility, required storage capacity, and leg clearance. A lower shelf can keep tools, media, cutting supplies, and packaging materials off the main work surface, but it should not obstruct the operator’s stance or access to the table. Heavy items should be distributed evenly, and the shelf’s rated capacity should not be exceeded. Consider how frequently stored materials are needed; daily items should remain easy to reach without repeated bending or unsafe lifting. If the table moves, ensure stored items will remain stable during relocation. A shelf should support the work process without turning the area beneath the table into crowded or poorly organised storage.

Locking castors are useful when the table must move for cleaning, reconfiguration, or shared production work. They are less important when the table stays in one permanent position and maximum rigidity is the priority. Confirm that the castors are compatible with the exact table frame and that their combined load rating supports the table, top, accessories, materials, and stored tools. The floor should be level and suitable for the wheel type. All castors must be locked before measuring or cutting. A worktable used near cutters and trimmers should remain stable so material alignment is not affected during the job.
