Rhino-style rulers add a no-pinch safety guard, wide base, and steel cutting edge. For light print-room trimming, aluminum may be enough. For wide-format or heavier daily work, a steel-edge ruler may justify the added cost. Match the ruler to both cutting length and material thickness.
