This is the Dahle Level P-6 40430 Office Shredder!

Simply inserting your pages into the machine will automatically feed the pages then stop the motor. That’s stop and go shredding.

Alternatively, if you hold the forward button for a few seconds it will go into continuous feeding mode.

So now feed stack after stack until you’re finished.

If you need to ever stop shredding—like if you snag your hair or a tie—hold the reverse button and pull your pages out.

The opening is 10 1/4 inches wide, almost accommodating for the wider length of a standard page.

The shred trimmings are tiny—if you don’t need an NSA approved shredder, but want a very high security, the difference between levels P-6 and P-7 are minute.

Opening the bin we see a spot to store a bottle of oil.

It has an automatic oiler—keep this container filled and easily(and cleanly) ensure your machine is always working smoothly

And pulling out the bag and replacing it is simple.  Just wrap the bag around the square bar, then slip it into place.

The automatic power features put it in sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity and shuts it off after 30.

When you find a good spot to put your shredder, lock the wheels so it stays there.
