Dahle 40506 Small Department Level P-2 Strip Cut Paper Shredder with FREE Oil

This is the Dahle 40506 Level P-2 Small Department Shredder!

Turning it on puts it in standby mode to automatically start and stop shredding up to an impressive 32 pages.

If you hold the forward button for a few seconds it will go into continuous feeding mode.

So now feed stack after stack until you’re finished.

The opening is 12” inches wide, easily fitting the length of a standard page.

If you need to ever stop shredding—like if you catch your hair or tie…yikes—hold the reverse button and pull everything out.

And you don’t have to worry about staples and paper clips, it’ll shred those too.

It is the lowest of all the security levels, but it still renders your documents unreadable.

Opening the bin we see a spot to store a bottle of oil.

And pulling out the bag and replacing it is simple.  Just wrap the bag around the square bar, then slip it into place.

Place the black tray in the center to catch CD trimmings.  Insert your CD and press the forward button. CD’s are not recyclable, that why it’s good to separate them.

When you find a good spot to put your shredder, lock the wheels so it stays there.

The automatic power features put it in sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity and shuts it off after 30.

Every once in a while pour oil onto a few of your pages before shredding to keep the machine in pristine shape!
