Fantastic for choppy choppy purposes but the right side guide/tray is tricky to move.

Great product with great Dahle support

Great strong and precise cutter. High build quality. Handy pull out drawer for precise "drop" dimensions of a cut. The first cutter I received had a slight cosmetic problem and I brought this up to Dahle folks in New England. They were extremely responsive and sent me a new cutter. I returned the initial at their expense. Dahle quality backed by the Dahle reputation.

The Dahle 567 was designed to handle larger sizes of paper. It has a 21-inch cutting length so you'll be able to trim a wide variety of documents, including ones that have been printed on tabloid-sized paper (11" x 17"). You can even use this device to cut materials such as mat boards.
This trimmer has a maximum cutting capacity of 35 sheets, which is based on standard 20 lb. bond paper. Thus, this is a good device to use if you quickly need to slice through a couple dozen sheets at a time. If you need to process more paper in one go, you should consider a stack cutter instead.
The Dahle 567 has a metal base that's very sturdy and is able to withstand a fair amount of use. There are cutting guides visible on it that can come in really handy when it comes time to trim your documents. If you prefer to measure your items yourself, you can use the alignment grid that contains both metric and standard measurements.
This cutter has an adjustable backstop that can be useful when you're doing a series of repeated cuts. However, it lacks the automatic paper clamp that the 561 and 565 models have which is definitely a disappointment.
