The Formax AutoSeal FD 2300 Series Production Pressure Sealers are designed to handle the highest volume jobs with ease and dependability, with speeds of up to 43,000 forms per hour. Its user-friendly features include the graphics-based color touchscreen control panel, and the ability to program up to 200 custom jobs. The FD 2300 Series Pressure Sealers have fully automated settings that include the feeder, alignment rails, fold plate stops, deflectors and fold rollers, and delivery rollers. Versatility is key to the 2300 Series, which can process a variety of documents up to 11.5" wide and 25" long, including checks, invoices, school reports, tax forms, PIN notices and direct marketing pieces. In addition to the 20 standard pre-set folds, operators can program and store up to 200 custom jobs.
Four models are available to choose from which offer different in-feed options: the FD 2300 utilizes an air-feed system with a capacity of up to 500 forms; the FD 2300-EX offers an extended air-feed system to reach a capacity of up to 1,000 forms; the FD 2350 utilizes a pile-feed system to reach a total capacity of up to 3,500 loaded forms; and the FD 2380 works in-line with the Formax FD 676 Maxi Burster for processing continuous forms.
With the help of the optional Formax V-Stack36 Vertical Stacker (sold separately), you can stack up to 22" of processed forms, making them easier to unload for further handling.

State-of-the-art automated features make job changes quick and accurate, and up to 200 custom jobs can be programmed and stored into memory. Heavy-duty fold plates are designed to handle a variety of fold types, while the rugged combination of steel and polyurethane fold rollers provide durability in a production environment. Four-fold plates are used to offer flexibility in both folding and the output sequence of processed forms.
To operate the 2300 series, begin by switching on the main power. Next, load forms onto the feeder, then use the control panel to easily select your job settings. Press the feeder activation button followed by the green and red folder start button, then the feeder start button to begin feeding forms. Finally, adjust the desired processing speed.
Watch how the feeder slowly rises as the forms are being fed. As the forms exit the seal rollers, notice how they're stacked in a neat sequential order on the adjustable output conveyor. The conveyor has its own set of controls which make it easy to unload the processed mail-ready pieces.
