A 9-inch wide mouth opening accommodates great sizes of paper and its shred capacity is 25 sheets of 20-pound paper in a single term, pretty impressive for a personalized shredder. it's very quite as it does its work and it's great for paper, cardstock, laminates, cards, credit cards, CDs, DVDs, diskettes, paperclips and staples. The view window in the front of the basket lets you see just how full things are getting. In the event of a paper jam, no problem. The reverse switch right here on the top, you press it down, hold it, it backs the paper out, remove your paper and start again. The waste bin below is 7.1 gallons, which is rather large and opens by a door in the front. The shred themselves are a level 2 security. The unit rolls around on 4 casters making relocation a snap.
