The Intimus 14.87 3.8mm x 40mm Industrial Shredder/Baler combination is a proven solution for the destruction of confidential documentation and media. This large document shredder can handle smooth and crumpled paper. It has a shredding capacity of up to 110 sheets (70 g/m2) and up to 95 sheets (80 g/m2) of paper. It can also shred paper clips, CDs/DVDs, credit cards, and floppy disks. The Intimus 14.87 3.8mm x 40mm has a working width of up to 17.25" that is suitable for all standard computer formats. Shredder loading can be continued while baler is compressing the material. The spacious feed table with integrated infeed conveyor belt provides controlled, effortless, safe and fast loading. The shredded material is collected in large-scale, mobile or swing-out containers under the cutting mechanism. The shred-press combinations are coupled to a baler for immediate fully automatic compaction of the cut material into compact bales. Reduction effect compared to the loose collection of the cuttings is about 70%.
